Tours et Terroirs

Tours et Terroirs is the result of the association between the co-operative of Gignac and St André de Sangonis.

The co-operative of Gignac was created in 1936 and the one of St André in 1951. They merged in 2004.

It currently has 420 members who work together and produce about 65 000 hl of wine per year.
The 1100 ha own by the members of Tours et Terroirs give us the possibility to produce a wide range of wine like AC Coteaux du Languedoc, Vins de Pays d'Oc, Varietal Wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, White Sauvignon and Muscat).

A board of 19 members, including the chairman Léo Viols manages it.
Today, the co-operative employs 11 people: 3 cellarmen, 1 winemaker, 1 secretary, 4 sales assistants, 1 saleswoman and the Director Walter Valgalier.

Always trying to improve our quality, we have recently invested in:

buying of a new equipment
(cooling system, thermo-filter, Elite tanks, pneumatic press, …)
planting quality grape varieties
building a barrel-aging cellar
